So, evidently, the Islamo-Fascists – or one of them, at least – have developed a new way to attack the world’s Jews, stealthily, by remote control, as their victims try to go about living normal lives.
And the implications for everyone else are pretty scary.
Associated Press reported that a hacker claiming to be a 19-year-old Saudi, posted thousands of Israeli credit card numbers and other personal data online – the hacker’s second politically motivated attack in a week.
Of course, no one knows if this indeed the work of an Arab – it could be someone pretending to be an Arab as part of his agenda – but whoever it is, is intentionally targeting Jews in general and Israelis in particular.
The hacker released the details of some 6,000 active accounts this week, in addition to the 15,000 made public earlier, the head of Israel’s data protection agency said.
“The hacker claims to have published details about 400,000 Israelis and blamed the ‘Zionist lobby’ for covering up the size of the leak, in remarks published on the Internet on Thursday,” AP reports. Guy wants there to be given credit where credit is due, after all.
The hacker apparently affiliates himself with a known Saudi hacking group and claims to have collected nearly a million Israeli credit card numbers and plans to publish them all. It’s being called a “technological terror attack of the citizens of Israel.”
And though credit card companies reportedly say only a few hundred dollars have been fraudulently spent on the hacked cards and that they quickly closed affected accounts, it is nevertheless a new, portentially devastating wrinkle that must be addressed.
Authorities say they’re worried about Israelis’ personal details, like ID numbers, email addresses and passwords, “which were also posted online and that could be used by identity thieves,” which, of course, is the bigger danger. The whole idea, is my guess – is to cripple Israelis personally and financially.
And, scarier still, AP reports that Israelis weren’t the only ones affected.
“Personal data belonging to a few hundred people around the world, who purchased Jewish art and objects on an online site, was also compromised,” according to the report.
So, this terrorist is targeting Jews and friends of Jews. Anti-Semitism of the basist kind, pure and simple.
And the world at large, whether they realize it or not, has a vested interest in this attack being stopped cold and the perpetrator(s) harshly punished. That’s because, if history teaches us anything, and it usually does, attacks against one group are almost always followed by similar attacks against others. This is particularly dangerous if the first attacks are met with no or inadequate response.
Israeli authorities are investigating, the story says, adding they are considering asking Interpol for help, which they should, for the reasons noted above. They also put out a call for “good hackers” worldwide (is that anything like good witches, I wonder) to help Israel catch this anti-Semitic terrorist, who is setting up millions of Jews and others to be victimized by criminals all over the world.
It takes a special kind of evil mind to conceive of such a plot against innocent people, but, I guess the planet has never suffered from a shortage of such evil minds.
