I don’t know about you, but I’ve had about enough of the La Raza revisionists.

The Amerind Peoples occupied the Americas thousands of years before the Spanish Conquest. Spanish is not the language of the Americas, and Mexico in particular (established in 1810) has no legitimate historical claim to the Southwest, except as they stole it from the native peoples. The murder of millions of indiginies, not to mention the destruction of the written records of the ancient civilizations that were displaced by the Conquistadors and their accompanying religious legions, is all but ignored in Latin American studies in this politically correct world.

Spanish language and culture is an imposition on the American continents.

The arrogance of the Las Raza membership is contained in their self-definition: the Race. Claiming dominion over the Southwestern United States on the strength of a Land Grant issued by a Spanish King against whom even the Mexicans rebelled is absurd. Some cultures are less equal than others. So you in La Raza I say, get off your high horse and look in the mirror of history.”
