I’m sure that you have heard about the judge in Wisconsin who recently ruled that the National Day of Prayer was unconstitutional. While the allegations of such atrocious thinking were not widely accepted or acted on, even the thought of having that right taken away was enough to move us to action.
We have organized an event to be held on May 6th, the National Day of Prayer, from 7-9 PM at the Bell Tower Community Center in Rancho Santa Margarita to commemorate this sacred day. It will be a night of celebrating the freedom that we have to assemble and pray. We will pray for our nation, our government, and for God’s will to be done in all things.
As founder of the organization, “Honoring American Heroes” we would also like to take this opportunity to honor the valiant veterans, military families, fire fighters, and police men as they have given so much for us to be able to sustain our safety and freedoms. Please join us as we welcome and pray for them and thank God for the blessing that they have been and are to us. Please invite any American Heroes that you know to come and be blessed.
I am happy to announce our special guest speakers for the evening; Brad Dacus, the President of the Pacific Justice Institute, and Lieutenant Colonel, Buzz Patterson, renowned author of “Dereliction of Duty” and a retired Air Force pilot. Please use the attached flyer to hand out your church, or forward on to any friends that you would want to come pray with us. We will have a time of worship as well.
We are so thankful for this opportunity to pray together and honor what the Lord has asked us to do, to humble ourselves and pray for the healing of our land.
Be blessed,
Phil
