I do not remember, in my lifetime, a Chief Executive so consumed with making everyone happy as this guy! He is not just trying to make some changes for the country, he is trying to overhaul every major aspect of it. Take a chill pill, big O…

Fixing the health care problem would be a monumental success for any President. If he just did THAT, we would be impressed as a nation. But, that is just one spoke in the wheel for President Obsessive. He wants to help sell old cars, get everyone employed, win the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, rejuvenate the economy, promote the Olympics for Chicago, bring the Mideast together, perfect his jump shot, become a respected world leader, rule the Democrats and be the hippest guest on David Letterman.

And, then on Tuesday…

Does this guy ever SLEEP?

Can you imagine what Michelle Obama trying to slow her husband down? “Honey, please come to bed…the White House construction crew can finish  papering the walls in the Lincoln bedroom.”

It makes you wonder what President Obsessive was like as a child growing up in Hawaii. Did he stare at Diamond Head and wonder, “I can improve that!” Did he visit Molokai and mutter, “Dang, no lepers to HEAL?” Did he visit the Pearl Harbor Memorial and suggest, “If there had been a community center for dialogue the Japanese would never have attacked us…”

Is he afraid to fail or is he an arrogant meglomaniac who believes he is the first true hope for America since the Second Continental Congress? What is his PROBLEM?

This guy lives in his own private world. He doesn’t sip, he gulps. He doesn’t walk, he runs. Incessantly. He sleeps with one eye closed and the other one checking out Iran. He doesn’t rest, he races. He is not a plowhorse, he is Secretariat. On uppers. The President never sleeps voluntarily, the Secret Service pulls the key out of his back and he folds up like a child’s toy and is set in a corner until 4:00 a.m. the next morning when he is ignited again.

We didn’t elect Barack Obama, we voted for Mork from Ork. Nanu Nanu. One thing we all need to hope for here…let’s pray that President Obsessive does not confuse hyperactivity with accomplishment. They are nowhere near the same. If he does not learn to work smart, he will be a failed leader. It is not how many initiatives he starts, it is how many he finishes successfully for the people of the United States.

Let’s all take a deep breath and hope he does, too.
