–Armed with statistics, an Oregon State University study concluded that having kids is bad for the environment. The researchers want to make sure Americans understand they’re not advocating “government controls,” but merely want to make people aware of the “environmental consequences of their reproductive choices.” Here’s what I want to make people aware of: these people are monsters, every bit as disgusting as their historical counterparts–the eugenics advocates.
–If this writer is a little cranky regarding the Cash for Clunkers program, perhaps it’s because people like me are already paying for other Americans’ mortgages–and now I have to buy them a car as well. Moreover, if Congress and the president get their way, I’ll be picking up their health care tab too. You know what we used to call people who live off other people? Deadbeats, scammers, bums, etc. What do we call them now? Victims of “social injustice.” Pathetic.
–The left is referring to Americans who show up at a town hall meeting to protest a government takeover of healthcare as “right wing extremists” from the “fringe element” of the Republican party. Since current polling shows more Americans oppose this takeover than support it, I’d call that a very large fringe.
–The “Birther Movement,” comprised of Americans who believe the current president is not a natural born citizen and therefore not eligible to be president, is gaining traction in the media. Why the sudden interest from the MSM, aka the Obama cheerleading squad? Weighing the pros and cons, they see a net win for the president in painting these people as crazies.
I am not a birther. I am however, a “Paper Trailer:” it is long past time that the man sitting in the Oval Office produced data on his life in academia. Why are his college and post-graduate years off limits to examination? The bet here is Barry Soetoro Barack Hussein Obama was and is every bit the left-wing radical he doesn’t want middle America to know he is. A documented reputation as a Marxist would damn him and his agenda just as surely as his location of birth.
–There’s a 2003 unedited video on the web showing Barack Obama advocating ” a single payer universal health care program.” White House reaction? Dan Pfieffer White House deputy communications director: “We intend to use a lot of the grassroots viral Internet techniques from the campaign to beat back the campaign of misstatements and outright falsehoods about the president’s efforts to reform health insurance.”
Translation: Who ya gonna believe, us or your lying eyes and ears?
–Final question: how many Czars does it take to turn a democratic republic into totalitarian dictatorship? That’s something ordinary Americans–and a comatose Congress whose authority is being usurped by these unelected, unaccountable people (44 and counting so far)–ought to seriously consider.
