A bike with the words “this bike is a pipe bomb” on it caused a panic at the Memphis airport.  Of course, it may also have been caused by passengers realizing they just landed in Memphis.

 

A New York man doused his friend with tequila and set him on fire during an argument.  No word yet on whether he’ll lose his Nobel prize over it.

One-hundred-fifty dogs and a Bengal tiger were rescued from a puppy mill in Missouri.  Or, as the tiger put it, “Hey, where’s my lunch?”

A judge has ordered the government to release documents about wiretaps in the Eliot Spitzer case.  And to read them slowly.  Oh yeah.  Just like that.

A 36-year-old lawyer is charged with killing the former girlfriend of NBA player Eddy Curry.  Or, as the NBA calls it, “an assist.”

Nicole Richie is expecting her second child.  So now she’ll be purging for two.
