So far, 42 countries and the Miss Universe pageant have recognized the independent “state” of Kosovo. This year, for the first time, there will be a Miss Kosovo competing in the beauty contest. Here is Miss Kosovo, Zana Krasniqi:

Even though Kosovo is officially a diverse, multi-ethnic, 95%-Albanian Western experiment, it so happens that Miss Kosovo is, coincidentally, Albanian. However, I think this girl would better represent Kosovo:

Anyway, the Albanian Miss Kosovo will be competing alongside Miss Albania. So already we’re looking at a slightly less diverse Miss Universe contest than in the past. Here is Miss Albania, Matilda Mecini:

Right now, two Albanian chicks get to go to the Miss Universe and Miss World pageants, but imagine the cat fights there will be when Kosovo and Albania merge into a single country in about a year and a half. Maybe the beauty queens will be the first to recognize that a Greater Albania isn’t in their best interests, and they’ll become the world’s only voice of dissent. (Though that would imperil their looks; see Miss Serbian Kosovo above.)

Incidentally, if Miss Kosovo’s last name sounds familiar, it’s because she’s from the same KLAn that produced the Brooklyn-based terror financier/gun-runner and American ally Florin Krasniqi.
