Here’s another story on how the Wright story is hurting Senator Obama; perhaps even ending his candidacy. I doubt it–let’s wait for the first round of post-Monday-speech polls. I bet we’ll see no change–and maybe even a bump up for the Senator. Why? Obama couldn’t do anything to shake off his supporters even if he tried. Let’s go through it:  New and young supporters got in because of his novelty; this stuff just makes him more novel, and is easily rationalized by those who wish to. Ideologue liberals agree with Wright, root and branch. In fact, the only Democrats who might be offended by his anti-American friend are already with Hillary anyway, as she is the closest thing to a grown-up in their field. So don’t be surprised if this latest Wright event bounces off his chest like a bullet off Superman.
