Hillary Clinton, like her husband, is a unrepetent liar. That’s nothing new. Here’s what’s new: the mainstream media is “mad as hell, and they’re not going to take it anymore.”

Mrs. Clinton may or may not realize it, but the horde of hack journalists who long protected her rear flanks have just drawn their collective line in the sand. The Bosnia “sniper fire” lie was a bridge too far, even for those reporters who had grown comfortable using words such as “misremembering,” or “misspeaking” to excuse her “predilection for prevarication,” aka lying whenever it suited her. Trust me, when an in-the-tank-for-Democrats network like CBS busts her, it’s the beginning of the end.

Why now, after all the lies, all these years? I believe the Eagles said it best:

“They will never forget you ’til somebody new comes along
Where you been lately? There’s a new kid in town
Everybody loves him, don’t they?…”

That would be Barack “New Kid” Obama, the media idol de jure. How idolized is he? He’s a man who can maintain associations with a racist preacher (Jeremiah Wright), a Weather Underground terrorist who bragged about bombing the Pentagon (William Ayers), an indicted political fundraiser and personal benefactor (Tony Rezko), all while throwing grandma under the bus as a “typical white person”–and still be considered “transformational” by the same “unbiased” media whose former “empress” has come “unclothed.”

Mrs Clinton? It’s been nice knowin’ ya. Well maybe not nice, but necessary when you looked like a coronated shoo-in. Now? We’ll take the apologist for anti-American racism over the congenital liar. No hard feelings, Senator. Strictly business.

Bada bing, bada boom.
