According to Fox News, a gunmen entered a rabbinical seminary Thursday in Jerusalem killing eight people and wounding nine. Thousands of Palestinians marched in the streets of Gaza in celebration. Hamas militants praised the atrocity. “We bless the operation. It will not be the last,” they said. Some questions come to mind:
–Will the U.N Human Rights Council, which condemned Israel’s offensive in the Gaza strip–undertaken in order to stop Palestinian militants from firing rockets into Israel–be as forthcoming with their condemnation here?
–Will the mainstream media, which goes apoplectic over any story in which Islam is deemed to be insulted–even if it’s a bald-faced lie like the report of a Koran flushed down the toilet at Guantanamo–emphasize the fact that a rabbinical seminary was the scene of the massacre?
–Will the Israelis continue to supply electricity in the Gaza strip to those who yearn for their annihilation?
–Will anyone involved in the ongoing insanity known as the “peace talks” ever peruse the history of 20th century warfare, and discover that every war fought to unconditional surrender brought lasting peace–while every one that ended in a stalemate continues to be a festering wound?
–Will the world continue to expect Israel to tolerate a level of terrorism that no other country in the entire world has to tolerate? What other nations are expected to endure a daily barrage of rockets–rockets which are growing more powerful and have a greater range than ever before–without retaliation?
–Will the West ever realize that the alphabet soup of Muslim terrorist organizations are remarkably consistent regarding two ideas: one, every Jew deserves to be exterminated; and two, every attempt to resolve differences diplomatically is seen as a sign of weakness–deserving of more terror?
Will the civilized world ever come to the conclusion that any society which encourages its young to become suicidal murderers, and which celebrates atrocities like this one and 9/11 is not “oppressed,” “downtrodden,” or “hopeless”–but collectively psychotic?
–And last, but not least: will enough EVER be enough?
