Just days before the election, what do I find in my mailbox, but a “Survey” on “Freedom, Justice and Equality.” Ordinary campaign material, you say?
Not when it comes from the ACLU.
It’s time for this organization to be stripped of its 501-c-3 status. The ACLU, not only on the basis of the “tone” of its questions, but also on the patently obvious timing of this national mailing, stands unmasked as a treasonous and unchecked danger to America. I want the entire membership list of this corrupt organization published (the New York Times will do nicely, thank you).
I want all of the internal ACLU memos dealing with Question Three: “I believe that the President does not need to use unauthorized and illegal powers to keep us safe, that warrantless spying on Americans is unnecessary and illegal and that, in America, no one—including the President—is above the Law.”
I want to know who drafted Question Seven and see all of the internal communications concerning this question: “I believe the constitutional principle of “due process of law” must apply to everyone residing in our country, citizens and non-citizens alike, and must be adhered to in any official proceeding, whether it occurs in a civilian court or a military tribunal.”
Am I getting through to you? This isn’t a survey. It’s a pep talk for the Far-Fetched Left. If you have any respect for our Founding Fathers and fear the looming prospect that five Supreme Court justices (Septuagenarians, for God’s sake) may trump the entirety of Congress, plus the President, and two-thirds of the States by ruling on questions of what is and is not “Constitutional,” then you should fear Question Five: “I believe a strong, independent judiciary is not only vital to the system of checks and balances that restrains the actions of all three branches of our government, but is also our primary guardian of individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.”
For the ACLU, which couldn’t win a fight in an election, the Courts are their tools for undermining every institution of our nation…without ever having to bring forward a reasonable “alternative,” let alone disclose their true objectives…and with one of their own on the Supreme Court (Ruth Bader Ginsburg), what would you expect from a bunch of sleazy lawyers who hide their love of Stalin and Castro’s governance and the ACLU’s plain distaste for the proletariat. That’s us, folks.
Try this statement on the ACLU Survey if you’re still not convinced. Question Ten: “I believe it is wrong to write discrimination into the Constitution through an amendment that would deny same-sex couples the right to marry or enjoy a range of government benefits and protections available to everyone else.”
It’s time to shut down the ACLU and prosecute these Fifth Columnists.
